Prophetic Virtues: Beautiful Patience in the Story of Yusuf (pbuh)
Prophetic Virtues Series: Beautiful Patience in the Story of Yusuf (pbuh)
Yusuf (pbuh)’s story in the Qur’an is introduced as “the most beautiful story”. It is a story of betrayal, distance, loss, isolation, and false accusations. Yet, it is also a story of remarkable hope, forgiveness, reunion and self-discovery.
In this workshop, Zahra Moeini will lead a discussion on the modes in which the story of Yusuf (obuh) defines patience, offering us a new perspective that far from describing it as a passive activity, brings us to renewed life and spirit in the present and for the future.

Prophetic Virtues: Courage & Monotheism
Prophetic Virtues Series: Courage & Monotheism
Courage is a key prophetic teaching in Islam. While it is often thought of simply as an act of individual willpower or of overcoming one’s fear, we find that it takes on a different meaning when seen through the Islamic monotheistic lens (tawhīd) and the Prophet’s life.
In celebration of Mawlid an-Nabi (birthday of the Prophet pbuh), Zahra Moeini will be discussing this critical quality using the Prophet’s life and the Qur’an, as well as how it can be practiced in our lives as Muslims today.
Join us for a riveting discussion!
